Job Description

We are looking for an Office Manager who has a great attitude, ability to learn and to oversee all the accounting, human resources and office administration. In this role you’ll have the opportunity to wear many hats. This position requires a strong team player adept at balancing a multi-faceted role and willing to perform a wide variety of tasks to support the organization as a whole.

The ideal candidate is keen to build positive relationships and enjoys interacting with people on a regular basis. The successful candidate needs to be a hardworking, self motivated individual with a positive and friendly outlook. Key attributes include exercising good judgement, initiative and the ability to multi-task. You will want to apply your experience in accounting and office administration to help a company operate and grow smoothly.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeping tasks including A/P, A/R, payroll, reconciliations and remittances
  • Answer phones, manage communication via email or phone
  • Ability to engage customers and vendors and resolve any customer or vendor concerns in a friendly and professional manner
  • Accurately and proactively manage employee files
  • Analytical review of the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis
  • Accomplish tasks on time and contribute to the team by taking on special projects as needed
  • Follow up with customers regarding outstanding invoices
  • Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly reports
  • Prepare and submit year end closing documents
  • Maintain and file all accounts payables, taxes and government remittances
  • Coordinate with external accountant for year end
  • Assist with document development, report preparation and proposals
  • Organize and coordinate special projects as required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in accounting / office management role
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Proficiency in the QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • HR experience with current rules & regulations, employee standards is an asset
  • Experience working within the construction industry is an asset
  • Experience with payroll
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations

We are looking for a Tile and Grout Setter & Maintenance Technicians who have a great attitude, ability to learn and a willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done. We have a great team and are looking for someone with the skills to join our growing team of experienced professionals which is based out of our office in Kitchener, Ontario. Wage is base on experience.

Job Description
The ideal candidate has experience in the masonry or tile setting industry and is interested in learning more about restoration of tile and grout floors, walls, ceilings, and shower stalls. As a Tile and Grout Maintenance Technician this is a unique opportunity for you to gain experience and to expand your knowledge and skillset. Throughout the shift there is a combination of standing, walking and kneeling. The day shift technicians will work with a crew or independently providing services to our residential and commercial clients at their homes and businesses.

The night shift Tile & Grout Maintenance Technician will work with a crew on mobile basis providing commercial services to clients at their businesses. The job consists of primarily overnight work from Monday to Thursday, but may include the occasional Friday or Sunday shift.

Qualifications

To be considered for the position, the ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in the custodial industry is a plus, but not required
  • High school education (minimum)
  • Ability to use and operate all required tools and equipment
  • Must be punctual, reliable and have a flexible work schedule
  • Execute timely completion of assigned work tasks and take pride in your work
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to engage clients and resolve client concerns in a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the capacity to prioritize by assessing situations to determine urgency
  • A driver’s license in good standing
  • No criminal record

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Manage and maintain company assets that is consistent with business image and expectations
  • Provide direction or support in other areas as requested/required

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in the custodial industry is a plus, but not required
  • High school education (minimum)
  • A valid class G driver’s license in good standing
  • Must be punctual, reliable and have a flexible work schedule
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Practical knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
  • Practical knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures

Compensation and Benefits
