SCREENING PROCEDURES
- Employees are asked to self assess prior to arriving to work each day. They are encouraged to use the online COVID-19 self assessment tool https://covid-19.ontario.ca/self-assessment/) if
experiencing any symptoms.
- Employees should also continue to self assess throughout the day.
- If experiencing any symptoms, employees are asked to stay home, inform management and take the necessary steps moving forward.
OUR PROCEDURES
Residential buildings
• When in close proximity to residents, staff are to ensure that face coverings are being worn. Employees must sanitize hands anytime they are entering/exiting a home and as needed. Upon completion of work, all tool surfaces are cleaned and sanitized.
• We ask that residents keep their distance while staff are performing their duties.
• Maintaining cleaning procedures
• We are minimizing any unnecessary contact of surfaces
Commercial buildings
• Staff will wear face coverings upon entering and follow the Covid-19 safety regulations for each specific building as required.
• Maintain regular hygiene and cleaning procedures. Ensuring use of an alcohol-based sanitizer when soap and water is not available.
POTENTIAL OR SUSPECTED EXPOSURE
• If employees suspect they have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, they are required to remove themselves from the work area immediately and contact management
• They will be required to stay home, self assess, quarantine for 14 days or provide a negative Covid test result before returning to work.
• Should an employee test positive for Covid 19, the employee and management must take necessary steps as directed by Public Health.
POLICY UPDATES
• Daily meetings and communication between employees and management takes place. This is to ensure any concerns are being brought to management’s attention and to determine if our process needs to be re-evaluated or altered.
